At 43.8mm in titanium this is Grand Seiko's professional diver, and it runs on Spring Drive — a mainspring for power, a quartz oscillator for regulation, and a seconds hand that glides in perfect continuous motion rather than ticking. Accuracy is quoted at one second per day. The Evolution 9 case geometry keeps the lugs short and the centre of gravity low, so the size wears far smaller than it measures.
