Montblanc MB129370

The Villeret manufacture behind Montblanc's watchmaking has a history that predates the Montblanc brand itself by well over a century, having originally built pocket watches and precision chronographs for expeditions and third-party clients under the Minerva name. Montblanc's 2006 acquisition preserved the workshop's tooling and hand-finishing methods rather than modernising them away, a decision the brand has continued to market as a point of differentiation. Alongside the Villeret-made pieces, Montblanc's broader collection, including the Star Legacy and Heritage families, is produced at greater scale from the company's Le Locle site.
