This is the watch Buzz Aldrin wore on the Moon. NASA qualified the Speedmaster in 1965 after putting it through vibration, vacuum, extreme temperature and impact tests that destroyed every other chronograph submitted, and Omega has changed the Moonwatch as little as possible since. Hand-wound, hesalite crystal by default, driven by the manually wound calibre still built for the purpose.
