The Defy is Zenith's brutalist statement — a faceted, star-patterned case that reads as machined rather than cast, in titanium so the substantial dimensions stay light on the wrist. Inside beats the El Primero at 5 Hz, Zenith's own frequency since 1969, still unmatched in a series movement. The bezel is held by exposed screws that add to the industrial reading.
