Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe

At 38mm this is the most compact Bathyscaphe Blancpain makes, and the size is period-correct rather than a concession — the 1950s originals were built this way. It descends from the Fifty Fathoms of 1953, created for French combat divers and generally accepted as the first modern dive watch. The in-house calibre runs three series-coupled barrels for a five-day reserve, with a silicon balance spring.
