Grand Seiko Elegance Collection

Grand Seiko builds to a standard of finishing few Swiss houses attempt. The steel case is Zaratsu-polished by hand against a rotating tin plate, producing distortion-free mirror surfaces that meet razor-sharp brushed facets along a crisp edge — a technique that photographs poorly and convinces immediately in person. Hands and indexes are diamond-cut and applied individually, each aligned by eye.
