This is Spring Drive in its rarest form: hand-wound rather than automatic, which lets the case run remarkably slim. A mainspring provides the power and a quartz oscillator provides the regulation, so the seconds hand glides in perfect continuous motion rather than ticking, accurate to one second a day. Without a rotor the movement's architecture is fully visible through the caseback, and the case is Zaratsu-polished by hand.
