This is Grand Seiko's mechanical traveller: a true GMT with an independently adjustable local hour, so crossing a time zone means moving one hand rather than resetting the watch. The movement is built and regulated in-house at the Shizukuishi studio, and the steel case is Zaratsu-polished by hand against a rotating tin plate, producing distortion-free mirrors that meet razor-sharp brushed facets along a crisp edge.
