In 18-carat rose gold at 45mm the Defy is Zenith's most experimental architecture presented in precious metal. A skeletonised El Primero chronograph is suspended in the case with its bridges shaped to show the going train working, beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour so the chronograph reads to a tenth of a second. Zenith has built its own movements at Le Locle since 1865.
