Abraham-Louis Breguet was appointed Horloger de la Marine to the French Royal Navy in 1815, and the Marine collection carries that appointment rather than merely referencing it. In titanium the case wears far lighter than its presence suggests, fluted at the sides in the Breguet manner, with a wave-patterned guilloché dial worked on a rose engine. Breguet invented the tourbillon in 1801 and still makes its own movements.
