At 44mm in titanium the Chronomat has the scale the design was drawn for, without the weight steel would bring. The rider tabs on the bezel are not decoration: they were specified so a pilot could grip and turn it wearing flight gloves, a requirement set by Italy's Frecce Tricolori in 1984. Driving it is the Manufacture Calibre 01, an in-house automatic chronograph with column wheel and vertical clutch, COSC-certified.
