The Senator Excellence exists to carry one movement: calibre 36, which Glashütte Original built to a standard stricter than the COSC's, testing every watch in six positions over 24 days. A silicon balance spring resists magnetism and the reserve runs to a hundred hours. At 42mm the steel case is restrained on purpose — a clean dial, applied indexes, and a hand-engraved balance cock through the back.
