Oris Big Crown Pointer Date

The pointer date is one of the last survivors of a gentler era of dial design: rather than cutting a window, a slender fourth hand sweeps a peripheral scale, leaving the dial whole and adding a second layer of movement. Oris has built the complication since 1938, alongside the oversized coin-edged crown that gave the collection its name and let pilots wind it wearing gloves. A 40mm steel case with a domed sapphire crystal.
