The Luminor 1950 restores the case Panerai built at the end of that decade — rounder lugs than the earlier Radiomir, welded rather than wired to the case, and the crown-protecting bridge locked down with a lever. At 40mm the cushion silhouette stays recognisable in a more wearable size, driven by an in-house automatic calibre.
