TAG Heuer Monaco

The Monaco broke every convention in 1969: the first square water-resistant case, one of the first automatic chronographs, and a design that looked like nothing else on any wrist. In titanium at 39mm it becomes markedly lighter while keeping the geometry that Steve McQueen made permanent in Le Mans. The dial keeps the squared registers and applied indexes, driven by an automatic chronograph movement visible through the caseback.
