Blancpain Air Command

In the 1950s the US Air Force specified a flyback chronograph with a rotating countdown bezel, so a pilot could time a manoeuvre without stopping the hand first. Blancpain built it — and almost none were ever delivered, which is why the Air Command is among the rarest watches of its era. At 42.5mm in titanium, this revival stays light despite the flyback complexity.
