The Ladybird arrived in 1956 carrying what was then the smallest round automatic movement in the world — a technical undertaking Blancpain accepted specifically so a women's watch would not have to be a compromise. In white gold, set with stones, it remains exactly that: small, quiet, and driven by a genuine in-house automatic calibre rather than a battery.
