The Boy-Friend takes its name and its logic from the moment Gabrielle Chanel began borrowing from a man's wardrobe and made the result unmistakably her own. Its octagonal case, drawn from the geometry of the Place Vendôme and the stopper of the N°5 bottle, is executed in polished and brushed steel, its facets catching light from every angle. The dial carries a fine guilloché texture and slim Roman numerals. A high-accuracy Swiss quartz movement asks nothing of its owner but the wearing.
