At 40mm the Luminor is Panerai scaled for a smaller wrist, and the crown-protecting bridge remains the defining feature — a lever that clamps the crown against its gasket so the watch can survive depths that would flood a conventional screw-down. Built originally as a military secret for Italian Navy frogmen. Steel, driven by an in-house automatic calibre.
