The Alpine Eagle exists because Karl-Friedrich Scheufele's son asked him to revive the St. Moritz, the steel sports watch Chopard launched in 1980. The dial is textured to echo the iris of an eagle's eye, and the case is Lucent Steel A223 — a proprietary alloy Chopard developed to be harder and more brilliant than standard steel, made from recycled material. At 44mm with an integrated bracelet and an in-house automatic movement.
