Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Collection

Evolution 9 is Grand Seiko's most considered design language, refining the proportions of the 1967 44GS into something built for the modern wrist — shorter lugs, a wider dial opening, a lower centre of gravity. This reference is hand-wound, which lets the case run remarkably slim, and the movement is a Hi-Beat calibre developed in-house at the Shizukuishi studio. Every surface is Zaratsu-polished by hand against a rotating tin plate.
