In titanium the Mark XX sheds the weight that a 40mm steel pilot's watch inevitably carries, and gains a matte grey finish that suits the instrument character better than polish ever did. Everything else follows the 1948 military brief: oversized Arabic numerals, a triangle at twelve, a matte dial free of ornament, and a soft-iron inner cage shielding the movement from magnetic fields. The IWC-manufactured calibre 32111 stores a five-day reserve.
