The Villeret is Blancpain's most classical line, named for the village where the manufacture was founded in 1735 — the oldest watch brand in the world, and one that famously never made a quartz watch even when the entire Swiss industry did. At 40mm in steel the double-stepped bezel and slim lugs are period-correct, and the dial holds nothing unnecessary. An in-house automatic calibre drives it.
