Breitling Avenger

Stripped of the chronograph, the Avenger becomes a pure three-hand instrument and loses none of the brief. At 42mm the steel case carries a heavily knurled bezel that turns with gloves on, a screw-down crown between reinforced shoulders, and a dial of outsized luminous numerals conceived to be read at a glance in a dark cockpit. Rated to 300 metres, with a COSC-certified automatic movement.
