Launched in 1975 and designed in-house rather than bought in, it resolves an octagonal bezel, a circular case and a tonneau body into a single coherent silhouette, finished with a Clous de Paris hobnail dial. Girard-Perregaux has manufactured its own movements in La Chaux-de-Fonds since 1791.
