Blancpain Air Command

In the 1950s the US Air Force asked for a flyback chronograph with a rotating bezel and a countdown scale, so a pilot could time a manoeuvre without stopping the hand first. Blancpain built it — and almost none were ever delivered, which is why the Air Command is among the rarest watches of the era. This is the faithful revival, flyback function included, driven by an in-house calibre.
