Oris Big Crown Pointer Date

Hand-wound and 38mm, this is the Big Crown at its most faithful to the 1938 original. Without a rotor the case sits noticeably slimmer, and the oversized coin-edged crown — designed so pilots could operate it wearing flight gloves — has room to be the feature it was always meant to be. The pointer date sweeps a peripheral scale rather than cutting a window, leaving the dial whole.
