Longines Avigation

Longines supplied navigation instruments to aviation's pioneers, and the Avigation line draws directly on that archive. The design's signature is the oversized thirty-minute counter — the BigEye — sized so a pilot could read elapsed time at a glance rather than squinting at a conventional subdial. A tachymeter and telemeter scale ring the dial, and the whole layout descends from 1930s cockpit instruments rather than from modern styling.
