The Submersible is Panerai's true dive instrument, and it earns the name. A unidirectional graduated bezel with a ceramic insert and luminous marker turns in firm clicks against the lever-locked crown guard inherited from the frogmen of the Italian Navy. The sandwich dial glows with the depth only two plates and a trapped luminous layer produce, legible at a glance in black water. An in-house automatic calibre drives it.
