Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe

The Bathyscaphe is the Fifty Fathoms' more compact sibling, named after the deep-diving submersible that reached the bottom of the Mariana Trench in 1960. At 43.6mm in ceramic it stays black and unmarked where steel would show every year of wear. The in-house calibre runs three series-coupled barrels for a five-day reserve, with a silicon balance spring and a free-sprung balance adjusted by gold screws.
