Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe

The Bathyscaphe is the Fifty Fathoms' more compact sibling, named after the deep-diving submersible that reached the bottom of the Mariana Trench in 1960. At 43mm in steel it is the most wearable form of a watch generally accepted as the first modern diver, created in 1953 for French combat divers. The in-house calibre runs three series-coupled barrels for a five-day reserve, with a silicon balance spring.
