Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe

The Bathyscaphe is the Fifty Fathoms made civilian — launched in 1956 as the smaller, everyday companion to the military diver, and revived because the proportions were right all along. The bezel is ceramic, the dial is clean, and the movement is entirely Blancpain's own. The Fifty Fathoms itself was built in 1953 for the French Navy's combat swimmers, before the Submariner existed.
