The Submersible is Panerai's true dive instrument, and it earns the name. The 44mm steel case carries a unidirectional graduated bezel with a ceramic insert and a luminous marker, turning in firm clicks against a lever-locked crown guard inherited from the frogmen of the Italian Navy. The sandwich dial glows with the depth only two plates and a trapped luminous layer can produce, legible at a glance in black water. The in-house P.9010 runs on twin barrels for a three-day reserve. Rated to 300 metres.
