The Chronomaster Original is Zenith's faithful reissue of the 1969 A386, the watch that debuted the El Primero — the first automatic chronograph movement to reach the market, in a three-way race with Heuer-Breitling and Seiko decided by weeks. At 38mm the tri-colour registers and stepped bezel are unchanged, and the 5 Hz movement inside is the direct descendant of that original.
