Montblanc MB130982

Villeret, the small Jura village where Minerva has built movements since the nineteenth century, remains the technical anchor of Montblanc's watchmaking even though the wider brand is headquartered elsewhere and best known for other product categories. Column-wheel chronograph calibres finished there follow bench-based hand techniques — hand-chamfered bridges, manual adjustment — largely unchanged by industrial-era shortcuts. Montblanc's broader watch collection, spanning the 1858, Star Legacy and Heritage families, is produced at greater scale, but the Villeret workshop's continued operation is central to how the brand presents its watchmaking credentials.
