Cartier counts the Astrotourbillon among the most advanced movements of its Fine Watchmaking, showcased in the Rotonde de Cartier collection. In this skeleton version the tourbillon cage completes a rotation in one minute, and the skeletonised bridges form the Roman numerals. The 47 mm case is crafted in 18K rose gold, with a beaded rose gold crown set with a sapphire cabochon and gold-finish sword-shaped hands. Inside is the Manufacture hand-wound calibre 9461 MC, made of 233 parts including 23 jewels, with a power reserve of approximately 52 hours. It is worn on a semi-matte gray alligator strap with an 18K rose gold double adjustable folding buckle. Limited edition of 30 individually numbered pieces.
