The Iced Sea Automatic Date, Montblanc's first-ever sports diving watch, features a black glacier pattern dial inspired by the Mer de Glace, the main glacier of the Mont-Blanc massif, whose texture is achieved with gratté-boisé, an almost-forgotten ancestral technique. The effect is that of looking deep into the ice. The 41 mm stainless-steel case has a unidirectional bi-colour ceramic bezel and an engraved case back, and comes on a tapered interchangeable steel bracelet with fine adjustment. Conforming to the ISO 6425 diving standard, it is water-resistant to 300 metres and driven by the automatic calibre MB 24.17.
