Montblanc's first sports diving watch, the Iced Sea Automatic Date, is recognisable by its glacier pattern dial, which recreates the depths of the ice using the almost-forgotten gratté-boisé technique. Here the dial is green, inspired by the Mer de Glace on the Mont-Blanc massif, and is matched by a tapered, interchangeable green rubber strap with fine adjustment. The 41 mm stainless-steel case has a unidirectional bi-colour ceramic bezel and an engraved case back. The watch conforms to the ISO 6425 standard for diving watches and is water-resistant to 300 metres, with the automatic calibre MB 24.17 inside.
