Chopard L.U.C 1860

Chopard created this continuation of the original L.U.C 1860 to honour the 30th anniversary of its Manufacture in Fleurier. It keeps the 36.5 mm case of its predecessor, now crafted in Lucent Steel™ and 8.20 mm thick. The 18-carat white gold dial in 'Areuse Blue' is hand guilloché with a sunburst pattern on a vintage lathe, with polished white gold chevron-shaped hour markers, Dauphine hands and small seconds at 6 o'clock, without a date. The L.U.C 96.40-L calibre, just 3.30 mm thin, uses a 22-carat gold micro-rotor and Chopard Twin technology for a 65-hour power reserve; it is COSC-certified and bears the Poinçon de Genève. It is worn on a gray grained calfskin strap.
