Created to mark the 20th anniversary of Grand Seiko’s Caliber 9R, the Elegance Collection SBGA499G captures an autumn sunrise over the Hotaka mountain range in a vivid red dial. A pink-copper power reserve indicator adds depth and contrast, while the warm-toned Grand Seiko signature evokes leaves illuminated by the first golden light of day.
The stainless-steel case and bracelet give this limited edition a poised, substantial presence, with a box-shaped sapphire crystal and see-through case back framing its refined construction. Inside, Spring Drive Caliber 9R65 delivers the signature glide motion, approximately 72 hours of power reserve and accuracy rated to ±15 seconds per month; only 1,300 pieces were created.
